Network Marketing

My Network Marketing Journey…

I got introduced to the Direct Sales Industry through Network Marketing or MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) In 2006 and dived in FULL FORCE! The thing I loved most about it was the emphasis on PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. I began to build a small team, and even made a little cash. I went to the conventions, the Super Saturdays, the trainings, I did PBR’s (Private Business Receptions), one-on-one sit downs, 3-way calls…the whole 9 yards! But I began to take issue with some of the marketing tactics that were being used in the process of prospecting and recruiting. It seemed to be an issue that was industry wide. Network Marketing gets a bad name because many reps use deceptive and unprofessional tactics in running their business. Despite that, I realized that the Network Marketing MODEL itself was without a doubt a phenomenal opportunity to get started in business or to build additional income along side a current business.

I took a step away from Network Marketing for a while so that I could study the industry and develop a better approach. In the meantime, I began to learn about Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Blogging, SEO, Social Media, Video Marketing, etc. After suffering from massive INFORMATION OVERLOAD I began to see some of the same issues in the Online world that I saw in the Offline network marketing arena. I also began to realize that the MLM leaders in the industry were not getting their success in the way that they were telling us. Edifying & Duplication (the way it is taught in the industry) was not the golden ticket to success for the masses.

I’ve casually examined some companies over the last year or so in search of the right one to jump back in with, and now I’m ready to take what I have learned over the years and jump back in the game FULL FORCE!
